Workers of supermarket chain Market Basket are protesting at the company’s 71 New England locations after the board fired longtime CEO Arthur T. Demoulas.
Demoulas is adored by employees because he believes in treating them well by providing solid benefits and a profit sharing plan. Thousands of people protested at the company’s headquarters in Massachusetts on Monday after management fired lifelong employees for demanding the CEOs return. Communities across New England are electrified as workers are joined by shoppers and community supporters. Store shelves are going empty because truckers refuse to make deliveries.
Q:Yall are gon sit there and say that Lolita is anything but the romanticisation of Paedophilia?
Yeah. It’s a novel. It’s a work of art, which is open to deconstruction and interpretation and I will not be ashamed because I don’t expect all people to accept an overly simplified and prescribed impression. Some people actually think for themselves.
I have never advocated or defended pedophilia, only a person’s right to think independently. I also don’t give two shits about that particular novel, either. If you want to get upset about it, blame whoever it is that tells you book A is absolutely and exclusively concept B.
Q:there’s nothing romantic about a pedophile rapist, the senseless murder-suicide of teenagers because families can’t get their shit together or the hypocrisy of the roaring 20s <- LEARN TO READ RETARD
Learn to read? How about you learn to read and scan my blog for a while before making stupid assumptions.
I actually happen to be friends with the person that originally posted the reply you are quoting (which was very, very long ago). They at least had the sense to discuss the topic reasonably and figure out what my remark meant. I have had several anons do the same since then.
Actually, I’m not too concerned about your presumptuous opinions anyhow, as you appear to be ablist, as well.

Biologists discover electric bacteria that eat pure electrons rather than sugar, redefining the tenacity of life
"To discover these bacteria, and to cultivate them in the lab, the USC biologists quite simply scooped up some sediment from the ocean, took it back to the lab, stuck some electrodes into it, and then turned on the power."
Q:Don't be a dick
- nice friend person: hey, how've you been?
- me: capitalism is crushing me. i am barely surviving. i am full of toxic resentment. i want revenge.
There is a movement happening which I think is greatly misunderstood. It is a movement, primarily of young people, that is very angry. The anger, though, is directed toward ignorance at every opportunity. It isn’t always a pretty movement, but to me it is beautiful and it means there will eventually be progress where before there had only been an illusion of progress.
